In the 16th century the history of condoms starts out in Europe, when the sexually transmitted disease syph got through epidemic proportionalities. In 1564, the Italian doctor Gabriel Falloppio wrote in the book 'Morbo Gallico', that a linen bag covered a solvent of salinity or herbaceous plant constituted a protective covering against the disease.
